At Global Self Storage, we want to make your big move as simple as possible; that’s why we offer a free move-in truck to any of our tenants who sign on for three months or more!
Our storage facility in West Henrietta, NY provides a free move-in truck for customers within twenty miles of our location. We also offer moving pads and complimentary dollies to simplify things even further. We trust you to bring it back in the same condition you took it. When you rent a self storage unit from us, you know you’re renting from people who know your time is valuable.
A Few Free Move-in Truck Rules to Remember

The minimum age to rent our truck is 21 years of age (photo ID verification required)
- Insurance cost is $15 which covers you up to 24 hours
- The first 20 miles are free (58 cents per mile after that)
- The truck must be returned empty and clean
- The gas tank must be returned full
- Truck must not be taken further than a 50-mile radius from our storage facility and it cannot be taken out of state
- Truck must be used within the first 30 days of the move-in date (one-time use for initial move-in only)
- The truck cannot be used to move out (no exceptions to this rule)
- You must pay any parking or driving violations that occur when the truck is in your custody
- No smoking is allowed in the truck
